Best public sector B-Schools | Top B-Schools in India | Best Government B-Schools| Best Private B-Schools in India | Top Private B-Schools in India

This time round, we arrived at a result comprising 113 of the top B-Schools in the country. However, they have been segregated on the basis of public and private ownership. In this article, we present a listing of the top 22 public schools, along with the weight age given to them in various parameters.
The rankings have been segregated on the basis of the ownership of the school. We ran the algorithms across the whole universe of 113 schools, and arrived at their marks. The final rank sheet has been presented after categorizing schools as public and private. So, out of the 113 schools, 22, which are in the public sector have been presented separately and the remaining 91 private sector schools are listed subsequently. The idea is to enable more apple-to-apple comparison of the schools.
If the student so desires, he could compare the standing of one school vis-à-vis the other since the scoring has been done on the basis of the same algorithm. The parametric special rankings as well as the regional rankings have been done irrespective of the ownership of the school.
Missing Schools - One major factor we identified in many rankings is the fact that they invariably miss out on good schools because of non-participation as well as near total absence of data. We believe non-participation in the ranking must not lead to the penalising of the student. So using the Tier-based classification that Careers360 evolved, we identified about 87 schools at different levels (Tiers) which must have been part of our ranking. We placed them at the appropriate levels alongside our rankings.
